You have been chosen by House of Travel to go on a mission to another country. You will join a crew to gather information about your destination. When you become experts, you will travel to this country. After exploring it, you will contact mission control in Auckland by directing them to a website you have designed about the country.

Your job is to collect data about your country. Your group of will work as a team to collect this information. You will need to show your website to Mission Control before you leave Auckland.

1. You need refresh your skill at building a website. For this you will spend a bit of time
surfing the web, start by going to Ask Jeeves , Google .

2. Each of you should pick two of the countries to research.

3. Print and fill out the 'what I know' file to determine what you already know and what you need to find out.

4. Print and review the 'country information sheet'. As a group, come up with any additional questions or information you want to find.

6. Well done you are now an expert on the countries you have studied. You now need to use this information to
design the website we spoke about.

7. Look at this 'sample website'.

8. Print the ' planning sheet ' and lay out your basic design. Put in rough text and sketch or describe the graphics.

9. After having your planning sheet checked by the teacher, produce your website using Frontpage or Dreamweaver.

10. After uploading the website contact mission control and direct them to your website.

12. In your group review the webquest and the websites you designed.

13. Send the link to your website to mission control so it can be printed in the next newsletter.
14.You now need to complete a questionaire called making a website complete it and hand it to your teacher.
15. You have done a good job , now you need to do the final step and that is to do a self assessment .
